GT4 Clubsport: Gear Ratios?
Does anyone have the spec gear ratios on the GT4 Clubsport please?
I've searched high and low, but have only found a marketing PDF that's long on verbiage and short on details.
Reason: A good mate finally ran his GT4 at full chat and found the gears woefully long at the track. 2nd lasts forever, and the uninspiring upper-rev range doesn't sit well with the stock ratios beyond 6krpm. A natural question would be to see what works better in a motorsport application...
With those ratios as reference, we can work to figure out the implementation--be it via gearing or final drive...

Thanks Matt. Really surprised that PMNA hasn't shortened the ratios to fit a racing application, when the street car is so ridiculously long in the tooth...
Marketing says "close ratio" box... My backside. "Minimal cost" box is more like it.

Guys, remember, the CS runs on 18" wheels vs the 20" stock setup....

I did the math... If I'm not mistaken the setup runs 680 rears which is only 5mm in diameter smaller than the street car. The effective gearing increase is less than 1% and completely negated by the longer ratios in the PDK box.
Would be very interested in drivers' impressions after they've had a go in tighter power tracks like Laguna.
In quite a few tracks in Asia this car will probably struggle big time performance wise.
And... If the budget isn't materially cheaper than running a regular-spec cup (prelim calcs seem that way) there's lil chance for this to take off in newer motorsports markets where folks want to be associated with the bestest blingest whatever... Sad but true...
