Can anyone please give an outline on how to import a race car from the U.K.?

Contact Monika mdrozd@southernexport.com / I have used her many many times for race car imports. The process is fairly simple as she handles everything behind the scenes. There is EPA exemption paperwork and a whole host of other things you probably wouldn't want to do yourself the first time. Cost wise, its ranged from $10-15k all in depending on value of car (you have to pay duty), where its being delivered to (port or direct to your location), insurance which is usually 1% of value, and whether it gets chosen or not for inspection which is a crap shoot and costs about $750.

I look at the strength of the dollar, the rarity of the car, and how soon I need it.. Usually (unless you want to fly the car over), the process takes about a month. This is all from my experience only and won't say it doesn't vary

Monika is the way to go. Easy to do. The hardest part is waiting, and writing the check. LOL
