Why is Karl Leonard shown as banned?

Huge benefit for us Cup guys who may never look at the classified section or don’t want to scan through countless ads on things that we have no interest in. You still have all the discussions you want and it pin points ads that may be of interest to us Cup guys.

Karl is a tremendous asset to this community. I hope they clear up this issue quickly in his favor. As for posting items for sale I'm in favor of allowing any and all cup related cars and items to be offered here. I have bought both a car from Karl and many parts from other members. This small subforum has been a huge help to me as a Porsche and a Cup car driver.

No problem. I was more thinking along the lines of having the Cup car for sale/wanted in a separate section and not mixed with all other for sale action on the site. I can imagine a Cup car owner not being interested in the latest and greatest 21" Techart wheels for a Boxster

I find a lot of learning in reading the for-sales. you get to know the market, pricing, whats hot, whats not, you get to see details on cars like modifications and updates, what people have done to their machines, trends, etc. you get see awesome machinery like GMG's turbo cup or RSRs, etc.
I mean if i were being bombarded with postings of some nonsense crap that was not fun exciting or our passion, i'd get it. but its awesome race cars and race car stuff for sale. ask yourself this, without those for sale threads and the dialogue that takes place therein, this thread might be too quiet, almost dead.

I'm not sure I understand the big issue here. We wouldn't be having this conversation if he just paid his dues for using the forum to promote his business? We all know Karl sells cup cars on this forum.

Rl let's one sell their own cars no issue. Cars of others as a business yes requires putting up the fees the ask.

Guys,
Many have correctly answered why Karl got himself banned. He was using the forum to promote his business. Members can sell personal cars, dealers on the other hand need to be site sponsors. Karl was warned - twice as far back as September but persisted. I figure that a guy selling expensive race cars could afford a sponsorship like the other dealers on here.

Big Brother is watching..
Aren't we the customers? Why is RL banning people that is at the detriment of the users/customers on their site.
From talking to Karl he helps others sell their cars and makes no $$ on many transactions, so why does he have to pay to help us and others out?
Isn't RL supposed to be a "community"?
