Default Rain Tires

What's the best? I have not run the Pirelli or Michelin, but was extremely happy running the Hoosier H2O, a DOT tire. Anyone able to comment on these or provide a comparison?

I ran the Michelin rains last year at the COTA Track Day prior to the Club Race. They were pretty good as far as I could tell.

Have already purchased Pirelli WH's for this year. So, my 2HC Michelin rains are coming off very soon (like next week).

I have had great luck with the Hoosier too. Trying the Pirelli this year.

Hoosier and Michelins are both excellent and long-lasting (in the wet). So are Yokos. I have not tried the Pirelli wets yet.

I have a set of brand new Michelins that may be for sale since the tire change. They have zero time on them. PM me if you are interested.

I've run Michelin & Yokes, preferred the Michelin.
I also have sets of Yokes and Michelins for sale if you need some, $1,500 a set plus shipping. Fits 996 and gen 1 997's.

PS Maybe going to the So Cal Festival of Speed and can deliver there if you would like.

Hoosier…a lot more confidence inspiring than the Michelin wets that I used…..
