There is about 7 hours to the finish-- attrition has been high -both thru practice/qualifying and now in the race.
What the vision does not show is how much the circuit climbs-- quite long uphill on mountain straight. On both mountain straight and down Conrod( longest straight in Australia) there are humps that you crest--in my older cars it wasnot unususal to get wheelspin at plus 260kmh and car steering around. The current GT cars aero will help a lot-- but touching 300kmh for quite long time down straights-- the cars want to suck together-- quite an experience!!

12 hour is 2 hours from finish-- a serious race with a few possible winners. Just watching in car with Salo 458--ya gotta see it !!

For those who are liking the idea of driving track-- many blind corners-- but across the top the underlations mean you cannot sight corners--- you do turn ins from memory!!

For the guys here who know guys who were seeing the track for the first time-- would love to hear what they are saying--especially their thoughts after the first few laps !!

WOW! And people say there are too many walls a Sears Point/Infineon! I don't see walls there but I certainly saw WALLS in that clip. There is no room for error, at ALL!!!!
