This 996 RSR #WPOZZZ99Z4S693066 and its accolades are written in stone. In its inaugural race in 2004, it was the Le Mans pole sitting car for LM GT, LM GT class winner/champion at Le Mans and finished a 10th overall in that year's 24 hour race. In 2005 the RSR #693066 finish 2nd in class in LM GT2 at Le Mans. In the same year, Petersen White Lightning used RSR #693066 to win the American Le Mans Series GT2 Class Championship as well as becoming the GT2 Class Team and Driver champions.

Still like this one better at 1/3 the price but I guess provenance matters more to some than others ;-)

I think the very last 996 RSR produced was asking like 150k.
I just don't think people will pay a premium for a dated modern age race car whatever it might have won. the winning and panache is cool, it adds some value. maybe if one was a winner, one wasn't, the winner car would command 20,30,40k more...but 400k?
