I have a 996 cup with a Fuelsafe cell...the cell has the sending unit for a gauge in it. My car also runs an AIM dash. Is there a way to hook up the AIM dash to the Fuelsafe sending unit? Or can I hook it up to the stock fuel gauge? Any suggestions?

Brant -- Any idea what fuel level unit you have? there is one that runs on +5V that is perfect fit for aim dash. Mine is not, I think it is a 90ohm one, but I need to check. I designed a circuit to work with it and it works well. See if you can figure out what ya have and let me know.

Yes it can work, regardless provided a few things. If it's a resistance sender, you have to add a resistor in the wiring to make it read voltage for the dash. If it's a voltage sender, then you have to make sure it's 5 volts and then you can hook it up. Both will take making a custom sensor profile, but that isn't too hard, but will take some time.
