Default FS 2007 Porsche RSR with 4.3 ltr 589hp Manthey Engine!

Hi all..

Fun car just came available!! This car is such a sweet heart it will ruin you for all other cars!

This is an 07 RSR with factory traction control and ABS.

We installed a KMP Paddle Shifter System in this car to make it an even easier car to drive!

Car was originally purchased by Australian Tony Quinn and campaigned as the VIP Pet Foods RSR. This team and car won the Dubai 24 hr race in 2008.

Since then car was run in the Australian GT series until being brought over to NZ where it won the Hampton Downs 12 Hour in 2011. Car was then sold to its current owner who campaigned the car in the 12 Hour in 2012 where it held fastest lap of the race and had a 30 lap lead but suffered engine failure at 11 hrs and 45 mins!

Since then we installed a brand new Manthey built 4.3 litre engine that was dynod with no restrictors at 589 hp! ( Naturally aspirated )
Dyno sheet here..

http://www.motorsport-services.com/for-dave.php

Car campaigned in sprint series in NZ and won the Championship for GT1 in the 2012/2013 Season.

Car ran in the first Thailand Super GT round where it held the fastest straight away speed over any other car there!

Car has had no crashes and has been maintained to the highest regard.

Engine hours are at 12 hrs
Gearbox hours are at 16 since a new ring and pinion, dog gears and 3rd and 4th gear
24 hrs on axles ( but 2 brand new sets of axles included in sale price!! )

SPARES PACKAGE INCLUDED
16 BBS rims.
Brembo brake rotors ( all 4 corners )
2 x Brand New pairs of axles
2 sets low hr axles
1 x Set Sachs shocks and springs
Car set of uprights
Wheel nuts and stubs.
Power steer rack , hubs and uprights, lower arms links etc, Brakes front and rear.
Radiators and carbon fibre air ducts for radiators.
Front splitter ,
Wheel bearings
Fuel oil filters.
Gear cables
Muffled exhaust
( I would also assume that the original RSR engine that has thrown a rod will be included with the car also )

Reason for sale is customer has just got his new turbo charged DP Car running to contest the GT1 Series here so has his hands full coming to grips with that!!

We are asking €130 for the car but please present all offers..

Love at first sight...

Just curious, how do you load it on/off a trailer with that front lip barely an inch off the ground? Where's it located?

GLWS!

What a marvelous piece of motorsport machinery!

On that dyno, the Schleppleistung (Drag power) appears to be the difference in wheel vs engine power. Do you happen to know if, generally, Schleppleistung is a measure for only the car's drivetrain losses? Specifically I am wondering if there is there is any component of power loss due the test machine included in that number? It is something I've always wondered about the MAHA dyno charts and it comes to mind now that I see another. Much appreciated.

That is a lovely car and at €130,000 with spares is definitly not expensive for a genuine RSR in fact i think it is for nothing

Was the car sold new in Europe or Austrailia (just wondering about import tax)

What gearbox is fitted to the car Hollinger or Porsche

Hi Porschemanrsr

Car has the 07 RSR box which was the same as the cup cars and such just the bell housing was machined down a little to move it closer to engine. 08 they went to the other gearbox.

Car was sold by Porsche Cars Australia but has since been exported from Australia to NZ... we can export cars from NZ to England and pay only 50 gbp import tax as long as we can prove the car was built in the EU ( Which is easy, we just get a letter from Porsche which costs us 75gbp )

I'd say that's a 2:10 car if you butter the lap...

John, with 4 race cars it would be a divorce for sure!!!
Man but what a way to go!

Now that I think about it, this technically would only be 3 1/2
