Should just be cars with the Twin Flap intake and it's the nut securing the resonance flap from what I understand. Another way to say it is the cars with the bigass pigeon swallowing sized throttle body...07 world challenge/ 08 cups on, it looks like. Not sure which street gt3's had it...

The letter from Porsche is interesting! What's the date on this letter? Does anyone know what Porsche's fix to the shaft/flap/fastener is?

This sounds like the same issue behind the recall for '10-'11 RS's. Work Campaign 51.
"Porsche has determined that an intake air distributor may have been installed on your vehicle during production with a guiding shaft for the resonance flap that does not meet Porsche specifications. As a result the shaft may break and broken pieces may get into the intake duct or, ultimately, into the combustion chambers.
To prevent any damage from occurring, the intake air distributors on your vehicle need to be replaced."
Can anyone confirm?

Soooo.... How do owners of dual flap Cup engines get a new intake air distributor at no cost? Seems as though there's a pretty good acknowledgement of the issue by Porsche with Campaign WC 51, and there's plenty of evidence of similar/same problem with Cup engines.
Does anyone have any experience with pursuing this sort of thing?
