No not Belgium. That was the initial plan. Car went back to where it was built.

Chances are very likely i'll get another one back sooner then i was hoping for :-)

The Germans made me an offer i could not refuse. Got a new one already:
'04 with 6 hours on engine and gearbox. Completely new drive shafts. Everything documented and complete racing history of only 30 races ever. Got it a couple of days ago. Car is fitted with 380mm Brembo endurance discs and huge Brembo calipers. For that reason they have fitted the car with the OZ Racing wheels. Do not like the look but will drive with them to try it out before i change them back to 350mm in combination with the original BBS wheels.

I am quite interested on what a wheel expert will say about how these wheels are used: 5 lug and center lock hybrid ? Car was used in Targa Tricolore competition (http://www.italiamotorsport.it/) and i have seen much more people with 996 Cup cars use these wheels there. Not my look at all but i have 255 upfront and 315 in rear (Pirelli slicks). Combine that with the 380mm monster brake set upfront ...... Curious how it all drives. Update soon to be expected.

Not bad for someone who was selling his cup car a month ago because he was urgently looking for cash and couldn't afford to run a Cup car any longer

If you are interested, I have a brand new AIM MXL dash + EVO4 for that car. New in the box, unused because I bought it for a car with a broken instrument cluster....

Nice one Ivo - paint them dark and forget about looks - 380mm and 315 rears trump for sure!

Looks like a nice car! Congrats!

Can't you just take some 997 Cup wheels and use other inner and/ or outer beds to run them on your car if necessary? BBS should be able to provide the stuff you need...
