Well the centerlock stud is also the retaining nut for the stub axles. Replacing that bit just hasn't been a priority. It also REALLY came in handy when I broke a factory stud at Road America last season. Went out and borrowed a center-lock nut and cone to bolt that wheel on.
So why not just convert to center-locks? My rain wheels are not compatible so I would have to buy new wheels too.

Chris ,
I have a set or two left over when we used them in Grand am
They worked for us we never broke any and we did a lot of pit stops
I'm in the Chicago area
Thanks

For what its worth, i had tried to call and email track studs with zero response. Not exactly the sort of service Im looking for. Gary was at the track with samples and responded immediately... Thats why they earned my business.

Miss my cup's center locks. Much easier to deal with than 5 lugs. That said I bought the longest I could find from CDoc so I could use spacers. 90mm IIRC. With BBS-E88's 9's and 11's I can barely get full thread with 7mm spacers. Just takes a little tugging and rolling on the fenders......

I've broken 2 rear axles using CL, not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I am seriously considering 5 bolt! When a CL breaks, it takes a good rescue crew 1/2 hour to get you off the track, talk about insult to injury !! I'm replacing the whole rear suspension this time, but IF I loose it again...studs here we come !!
