7cup brake pressure sensors -100bar?
Anyone running brake pressure sensors on their 997 cup care to share what the max pressure you are logging is?
I'm about to add some and from the graph in the service book it looks like 100 bar sensor should be sufficient....but actual data/experience is always better.

Thanks, the graph from Porsche shows 70 bar pressure but gave no indication as to whether this was an average working pressure, a system max or something else altogether.
I thus assumed 100 bar was sufficient but wanted to check with those with hard data first

I was getting max of about 1020 PSI in a 2010 cup car (with ABS) a couple weeks ago which is around 70 bar. I am not an expert nor a racer but that is real 997.2 data.

Pressure senders
I do quite a bit of data with 997 drivers. I looked at a couple pro driver's data and the highest pressures were just under 1000 psi in a 997 Cup.
I stock pressure transducers. I have the MSI 2K psi with AIM connectors and I have one Motec sender. I also had some pressure lines made up for street 997's to add a tee in the line. The other option is the brass tee that I stock, which accepts the 10 mm Porsche brake line. If anyone wants any of this or other AIM stuff, e-mail me at jandsaustin1 at verizon.net
