Default Batteries

Any recommendations for start battery for a 996 cup? I have been using a red top optima and they just do not seem to last.

Thanks in advance.

Most just go to an Interstate - have one that fits right in, its cheap and last a year or 2. Some 996's seem to have a draw and if not using your car for a month or so it really pays to lift the hood and disconnect the battery. Takes a minute, saves you a battery!

The red tops have to be on a trickle charge and throw the master while parked for extended periods. I've gone to Braille I'll the red tops, the cup still has an interstate, will be a Braille soon, don't like wet batteries.
