Default 2010 trottle body on 2007 cup

This winther I rebuild my 2007 in 2010 in all parts ( original).

I have rebuilt the engine in original 3800 parts of cup 2010 (pistons/Camshaft/Valves/etc), but not the air intake because I think it's too hard to do (and expensive because you need to change the injection/ wiring/ vacuum/ Ecu) .

The engine has good power now but I'like to fit the 3800 cup 2010 trottle body to have similar power than cup 2010.

I have foud this Plenum : http://www.ipdplenums.com/index.php?...&id=6&Itemid=9

But I'm not sure that fits on my 2007 air intake .

I know that 2007 cup has the same air intake of 2005 996 cup and I hope that 996 cup has the same air intake of 996 gt3 mk2 street car..

What do you think?

Ok for trottle body but I need to know if fits on. http://www.ipdplenums.com/index.php?...&id=6&Itemid=9 .

If fits it will be great , if not I have to order all 2010 air intake..

I was able to successfully machine the stock 996 plenum (which should be the same as your early 997 CUP) to match the larger throttle body (82mm at the butterfly). I wouldn't waste my money on the IPD plenum.

gret job Serge !
but in cup 2007 the trottle body and the " plenum" are in one peice ...
I need a new plenum with 4 holes to mount 2010 trottle body ( with screws )

The intake manifolds looks very similar to 996mk2 street cars. I don't KNOW, but I would guess that you could use either a machined 996 street car plenum or the IPD. I bet finding a 996 street car plenum + machine work would be cheaper, but that's up to you how much hassle you want to go through.

Hopefully someone here with more cup car experience can confirm.

The late model manifold as the same bolt pattern as the ipd . The ipd manifold
use the late dbw throttle body .The later cup manifolds as the same part no. as the road version.
