Thanks George! Yep, it will be GT1. The weekend was a blast for sure, I think we are part of a good class of newbies in the POC. There is much to learn, especially when you see some of the veterans running so fast. I'm thinking about taking my Cup to the Feb 11/12 WSIR event and running in the practice group like Marty wants us to do. I might even take it to our 2nd clinic in Nevada when the time comes. You and that other 7 Cup were having too much fun. I want in on some of that action...with fresh tires! Those things fall off FAST when they are half shot to begin with...lol

I will be at the Feb event. Do it in your cup. Get the practice in the car you will be racing. Do the clinic in the cup as well. You should maximize your seat time it the cup. And have Loren run a few hot laps for data logging so you have something to compare. The data will help you get up to speed faster. Congrats John! Sweet ride man.

Yes, that's great advice for sure. Maybe it's time to put the "big boy" trousers on anyway. lol

the autoblippers are great. im a convert. you have to set them right. avoids missed blips and ensures that late in a stint you dont foul up due to fatigue or being caught in the middle of a nose to tail battle.

it eliminates this....

if you ever want to see how not to run a sequential, this is it.
just painful to watch.

Steve......you bring up a good point......and why I question people when they say that a Pro Cup car has been ridden hard, etc.....I would rather have a babied car from a Club guy.............well here is a good example of why that wouldn't necessarily be a good thing.....

And yes, there are plenty of nice Club cars and beat down Pro cars....but this just gave me a chuckle.....

Hi Plaven. I am following your 2.9 poll on the Bird. I have a real interest in doing the same to my V3 car. I had the misfortune of spinning a rod bearing this last weekend. I am exploring the same options you are and really leaning toward a hot 2.9 (from a 3.2). I loved the video of P Long rock'n your ride! It would allow me to lighten the car AND end up with more HP. The other option is say "F" it and focus strictly on learning to drive my Cup...
