Default 2000 GT3R for sale!

2000 GT3R for sale here at TruSpeed Motorsports. Fresh rebuild on motor with only 1 race weekend on it. The axles were replaced at the same time so they have less than 5 hours on them as well. The car was primarily ran in Grand-Am in 2000-2003. Since then it has been ran mostly as just a club level car. It comes with 1 extra set of new BBS wheels as well as a front bumper. Car runs great and is good to go. Asking price is 82,000.

Very cool. What's the story with the RSR beneath it?

Great looking cars!

I noticed someone in another thread that said they are looking... (posted in the last few days) search them out and dangle this sweet candy... Maybe they will take it off your hands.

Thats the McKenna RSR that was very successful in Grand-Am etc, one of our clients owns and drives it.
Thanks Chris, I will try to find that post!

Yea this car is set at a very good price, the owner is looking to get into a cup car. As for the motor, it is the original 3.6 motor but rebuilt with non-orignal components. Just got rebuilt, under 5 hours on it.

I saw this car up close at the PDC event at Miller earlier this year. Really cool car and that price is awesome. These are going to be collectible long term...

Thanks GTgears, yea it is a great car and very capable at that. I also believe it will become a collectors item. I really like this car, sad to see the owner wants to get rid of it. I hope I can find a buyer that will take care of it as well as we do!

Any specifics on what else you want to see pictures wise? I will go take some for you. As far as the upkeep they are pretty much the same. The motor on the R is more expensive to rebuild if you use all the original parts like the titanium cylinders but if you use steel then it is practically the same. However the sequential in the 997 costs more to upkeep than the 6 speed in the R. The R might go through tires a little bit quicker but once again, nothing major. I also have a 997 for sale so if that is what you are looking for I could help you with that as well. Let me know.
Thanks,
