Our local shop says anything from 380Nm and higher is ok on a 996.

Does anyone know what it takes to mount CL system from a 997 on a 996? Is it only the CL stub axle and the nut? Thanks all for your reply

I think I've torqued approx 5000 of them to 350 ft/lbs since 99 Haven't had one issue

I use 350 ft/lbs too. Had issues the first year with seized nuts... Do not torque them when they are still hot if possible and apply anti-seize copper lubricant on the studs from time to time.

Look at the detailed pictures.
Over torquing will distort the stub axle threads. We have seen this a lot, especially on cars once owned by race teams as they bounce the car up, zip them on and off as fast as possible.
