Darren already has "the beast"!
This would be a great car for him to run in vs the expense of an RSR.......
And since the 2012 Cup will have the same specs as the 2010 and 2011 cars, a slightly used 2011 like this one is a great buy.
Luckily my client has ordered a new 2012 Cup. He wants to run the 12 hours of Sebring in a new car, hence the reason for this car being for sale.

awsome machine. really good value also. i think new is like near 195ish, another 18 to haul it in, and its not developed. another 3,4k for motec.
<30hours is childs' play for these cars.
glws.

New 2012 Cup is $200K plus $18K for shipping.
Add the $4K in Motec upgrades and you are over $220K.
More importantly, PMNA will require you to register for a full season entry in either IMSA, WC or GA to get a car.
This is a great opportunity to get one ready to go for almost $50K less with no commitments.

Add me to the list James. I want an 08 (I think) as I like the vented rear bumper and larger exhaust. I
just don't feel safe running the speeds I'm cranking out in my 1970 T. I was able to break into the 1:40's at Fontana and I only have a rollbar...not cool. I'm looking for a killer deal. John

John,
1:40 + is moving at Cal Speedway in that bad *** 911!
I am actually going to be building a Cup car from a 2008 chassis with a lot of good parts to make it a great Club car that could even run WC with a 3.8 3 ring motor and the car will have Motorsport ABS which really helps newbies to the Cup car world.
Stay tuned.

Yes, keep me posted as that sounds like a cool build. It seems like the really great deals are 50 plus hour cars which I am fine with as well. That way when the time comes to rebuild it would be done as a 3.8. I was trying my best to keep up with George and saw some lockup smoke going into the playground and thought "maybe I can catch him now" but I was dreaming as he left me for dead in his 2010 3.8! It's time for a purpose built and engineered to be safe race car. John
