I think Rick Deman has a fresh 996 gearbox, it was on another thread a couple of weeks ago.

I'm looking for one too - if there's more than one around (late 996 Cup) DeMan told me he doesn't have any. Maybe you got it?
Thanks.

Another cost effective option is sometimes to find a street 996 GT3 box and purchase a Cup Car mainshaft, 2nd gear and R/P set seperately. The internals of your Cup LSD will drop right into the street LSD and most everything else will be the same on it.

You'll also be able to resell the above mentioned takeout parts. There's always a market for that stuff in good used condition.

Default GT3 Gearbox

I have one - new case, freshened mechanicals - from a 2004 996 GT3 Street. Purchased from fellow R-lister smsarchitects, then replaced the case. Asking $13k.

And if anyone is interested, I also have 996 GT-3 brakes (calipers and rotors), 996 GT-3 RSR brakes (calipers and rotors), 996 GT-2 brakes (calipers and ceramic rotors - front rotors are worn), 2006 997 GT3 Cup engine with 15 hours, sealed and never rebuilt. Will post a more formal ad with price shortly.
