Thanks Peter, picked it up Friday, on the way back from Montreal.
Drove it yesterday, and it's pretty rough on the street. But man does it come alive and feel good on the offramps

Do it. They aren't getting enough entrants right now. Anyone who is considering this needs to raise their hand and be counted and make this series happen.

no car in sight, however i would look for the best cream puff 996 CUP on the planet
2011 is already locked in for me with other commitments, but i hope the series takes off as i would make plans for 2012 in the right 996 CUP and retire my 997 RS to street and grocery duty only....

Yes we have cars available.
An issue facing a Canadian driver at this point is that IMSA requires a FIA International C grade license from ASN Canada to compete in this series.
You can go to www.asncanada.com to see the requirements to obtain this license
IMSA has told me that in this first year they will accept all 996 and 997 cup cars as they are trying very hard to fill the grids.
If I can help anyone interested in racing in this series don't hesitate to contact me

anybody know what limitations are on the 996 and 997 cup cars? mods? etc?
I assume koni cars are out of the question of course.
just wondering what CUP cars would be allowed or even classed. Like grand-am CUP vs. PCA series set up cars....
996 GT3, GT3R, GT3RS, GT3RSR.......
