And a few more questions...
In looking at the cup manual, it appears that the factory has a "modificationset silencer" for the 00/01 cup, it appears to look outwardly like the standard silencer, but it has a different part number 996 111 022 91 and 996 111 021 91than the carrera or gt3 parts which use 121 and 122 as the third set of digits. Question is does anyone have or seen any of these? and are they standard street mufflers or are they potentially gutted or lower restriction? Pet refers to "mufflers" while the cup manual refers to "silencers"...
There are locations in europe that are pretty noise sensitive, so it doesn't suprise me they offer such a setup, makes you wonder if they have a similar setup for the current set of cups that would solve all these makeshift solutions...

In 02' they went to the center muffler with a intregral catalytic converter. It was considered quieter than the previous mufflers to appease the greenies in Europe. I would dump them and run straight pipes....
