-No Sound Limit!!
-GT 1 - GT 5 race groups from ALMS/WC/GA GT cars to Koni GT/ST and WC Touring cars with all PCA/POC race cars & drivers welcome with proper racing license.
-5 hours of track time
-Spectator Weekend
-Bring your Cup car out and enjoy this beautiful track, when ALMS used to run on this date!

We have several teams from across the country coming out for this event as many have not been able to race at Laguna due to the sound restrictions. Now you have the chance to run unmuffled!!

The Challenge race is starting to shape up well.......we are probably going to get at least 50% of the field from PCA & POC but welcome all other European marques as well.

Guys........we have over 30 Porsches entered already but we still have plenty of spots left.

Highlights of the race weekend:
1) NO SOUND LIMIT!!! This is extremely rare as they only do this for ALMS, Moto GP and the Historics, so if you have ever wanted to race Laguna and not have to plug up your exhaust, this is the time to do it.
2) 5 hours of track time with 1 race on Sat and the Feature race on Sunday
3) 5 Classes from GT1 - GT5, so all Porsches will be able to run in their appropriate class
4) Monterey in Oct is the best time of the year to race there.....weather is perfect!
5) 13/13 RULES.......safe racing
6) Have the chance to race against other qualified racers in Ferraris, Vettes, Vipers, BMW, Nissan, Acura, etc......this will be the ultimate GT Sports Car race.
7) Huge media coverage, from Road and Track to Speed TV
8) Time Trial / Street cars also able to run in the GTGP Time Trial event for the fastest street legal car.
-Bring your street GT3/RS/Turbo and run during the Time Trial Class for 5 hours of track time!!!
9) Car shows, Vendor Displays, Sat night Party in Monterey....

Just want to clarify one item, since I have gotten many emails about this event, this is a sanctioned event by Global Tuner GP (www.globaltunergp.com). This is not a GMG event. I have been asked to help out since it's on the west coast and there is a large contingent of Porsches coming........

With that said.......feel free to ask me any questions about the event and I can forward them accordingly.

Gents event is shaping up....

A few more Cup entries this week and we have some cars coming down from other series.


ALL Porsche Race drivers are also welcome to run there cars in the GTGP Time Trial event -
So you can have an additional 5 hours of track time.


European Car Magazine has signed to cover the entire event and they are holding a European Car Shootout during the weekend and will award trophies along with coverage of the event in a one dedicated issue..
Really cool deal!


Porsche Motorsport NA is also supporting the event with the parts trucks on hand.
