I know dougherty automotive has one on consignment that is completely fresh, has some good spares, runs gtc3 and it literally spotless. That said, I think its a bit overpriced...but a good offer to the owner could get you an extremely clean, non crashed car that has some serious prestige in the industry (not race prestige, but a previous owner who has been involved with porsche and penske for quite some time and has some of his bits and pieces still in it).

Take a look at Fernando Pena's car. That's an '05 with excellent provenance, and winning just about every race in PCA it enters. I think there's a post down below somewhere, or in the Racers and Drivers Ed section.

Thanks for the replies and PMs.

I should have added that I'm looking for a later car, preferably '04 or '05, and preferably close to stock.

Just made contact with both Bill Dougherty and the owner of the car - thanks very much for the heads up!

no doubt, the dougherty's guys are really good people to deal with. If they can work something out with the owner for you, they will He just helped me BIGTIME get my 6 cup to me.

Bumped, still looking. The ideal car would be a lightly used, bone stock example. I know, I know, not likely. Anyway, fool still seeks to be parted from his money.
