Anyone who has been around Cup cars has seen this. This happens somewhere around 100-150 hours and is why the 997.2 started getting billet lsd housings. This is a Giken with two track days on it in a 996 turbo.

Wow!!
While researching the options for ltd slip I came across this thread and read it cover to cover.

I am in the process of pulling a titanium spool out of a factory upside down 935 box and am going to put in a ltd slip.

My first choice was a Guard but just wanted to check it all out

I can offer some feedback from 15 years ago when I ran a Quaife in my twin turbo with an upside down 4 speed. I used to break them all the time. The people at Quaife were wonderful to me and always replaced the units and helped with labor.
Still I made the change to a Guard and never had a problem again.
I did run cooling on the box but this car with 14.5 inch wide Goodyear radial slick and fair hp at over 600 and 540lb Ft at 1bar was a beast.

The Guard worked back then so I assume it will work now though this car has more like 700+ hp
