The gurney lip is only legal on 997 cups, see the PMNA tech bulletins.

Aftermarket gurney lips are not allowed.

last weekend, I asked one of the crew members of a Cup Challenge car, how much from PMNA?...he said "$400".

I ended up getting a used one from one of the GA teams that was using a different one for their car. Less than 1/2 of the new cost. Works fine and don't have to worry about the screwts!

What are the dimensions of the Motorsports part? Is it silly to buy that vs. just getting a piece of aluminum angle?

Yes, I agree. For GTC4 though in PCA, it needs to be stock. They won't allow "home-made" versions.

What's the the most effective size though? I'm racing NASA GTS so I can do whatever I want. Rest assured it will be aluminum :)
