unfortunatly I made a mistake touching wet grass and I broke a radiator ...I was 4th (class 996).

question :

1) in my dashboard ( 996 gt3 cup my 05) there is a switch : Bosch - aus -service .

I usually use the car in Bosch position ,but during the race 2 my engine revs for 2 laps had max rev at 6000 rpm .
then I put the switch in service and I had the full range of rpm .
can you tell me how to use the switch ?

My Team say to use the car in "service" ,but I'm sure that a made 15 hours allways in bosch position .

2)Allways after 10/15 minuts of use the "ceck engine" yellow light turns on .

A lot of my friends who run with 996 Cup say that it's normal ..also the Porsche Serial diagnostic say that it's all ok .......
for me it's not ok ....please tell me if it's normal .

SERVICE is normally used to run the fuel pump when the engine is off, to drain the tank.

The CHECK ENGINE light never came on when I was driving my '04 cup. It came on a few times with my '08 cup but not the last race.

You should get the manual, it's available on a CD and should cover that info.

Thanks Mike , I've the manual on CD ,but it don't explane it very much .
Now we're ceching the thelemery ,lamdas are not ok .

My CEL has been on for years. I had Eric from P-Motorsports hook up to my ECU recently and he said it was nothing, just some small error codes. He cleared them but they were back the next session. I asked him for the top secret, super-dooper, Supercup flash and he said I was already too fast for my skills....
