I actually looked at a Synergy car before buying mine. What they do is take one of their Grand Am cars from their stable that they raced, and "convert" it back to stock GTC3 legal form. Translation, they pull all the Grand Am mods off the car, clean up any collateral body "rubs from racing", paint it, rebuild the engine/tranny, and suspension, and then sell you the "refurbrished" car. They are very thorough and the cars are very clean once done over from them. They are very nice and Synergy does great work, but I wouldnt call them 'unmolested". I would call the cars they sell from this program "refurbished" or "restored".

I chose to buy a 2003 factory Farnbacher car that was raced in Europe and comes with a Wagenpass. And yes, I know my car has been beat on by Tim Bergmeister. Thats part of the allure.
