I am looking for a set of PCCB brakes for my 997.1 TT and came across these rotors.

The weight and width seems within specs but these wear spots seems very confusing.

These were removed with 35K miles

Can someone please comment what they think about the wear spots?

Those are getting towards later part of their service life. I had a 997.1 GT3 with PCCB and what happens at the stage of those rotors is pad life decreases dramatically due to the increased roughness from that outmost smooth layer being worn out. Some of those pictures (last 2) are nearly done. There are companies that can recoat them if the structure is sound. That said if you are primarily using for street use they would be fine. The pad life issue is mostly a concern if you wanted them for heavy track use.
