Default 991 Air Jacks Used - FS

Guys,

I have a nice set of 991 air jacks that I was going to use on our Boxster AER car, but instead of the 991 air jacks, I am planning on using AirJAX air jacks.

I have two rear and one front. I am looking for $675 each on these. This is about half of PMNA price for new.

These are part numbers 9915831118A and 9915831138A

Thanks
Ed

Had a set of Airjax brand on a car once. They leaked from brand new. Company was never able to solve the issue. Same issue for a friend that had them as well. Personally I would stay away from those.

I have Airjax on my aircooled car and haven't had any issues with them. I was actually curious if there was a way to make your skates work with their larger diameter piston ...

It would not be difficult at all to make sets for the Airjax. We already have the double height jack stands for the Airjax. We would probably use completely different parts for the whole thing, but not that hard to do now that we have the initial design done. All it would need is to someone to buy a set to create the motivation to do them.

Thanks

Whoa! Just want to say that we've been building AirJax for over 20 years, shipped them all over the world, won many championships from pro to grassroots, and are very proud of our classic style air jack for GT cars.
Leaks are usually a result of excessive wear from dirt, years of use, or crash damage. I can never recall new jacks leaking. In any case, they can easily be repaired or rebuilt. Just contact Leighton if you have any issues.
