Default Anyone Imported Race Car From Asia?

I've done Canada but never overseas. I know Karl Leonard ships cars out of the UK all the time but wondering if there's any special or be aware of about bringing one in from Asia.

Thanks.

I've shipped out a handful of racecars from HKG / China / Malaysia in the past couple years, satisfied customers in each case. Happy to step into your shoes as buyer and share pointers. Easier to speak live?

My friend recently purchased a car from Karl, but it actually shipped from Shanghai China, just arrived into Long Beach yesterday. Thus far, all went amazingly well.

I imported a GT3R from Malaysia in 2000. Other than being a bit squeamish about wiring that kind of money to a Hong Kong bank, it went well. Shipping channels now may be disrupted however vs 2020.

West Coast ports like Long Beach that we on the daily news several months ago with ~70 ships anchored offshore waiting to unload appears to have improved dramatically. For my friends car, he was able to track the progress of the ship across the Pacific and it went straight into port for offloading without delay. Only took ~4 weeks total from pickup to delivery from Shanghai.

I loaded the container for my (ex) GT2RSCS first week of January in Hong Kong. The container cleared customs in Port LA first week of March.
