Default Gearbox removal 997 cup

Does anyone know if it is possible to remove the gearbox without lowering the engine on a -08 997 cup? I looking under my car right now and it seems that it's really tight to reach the second bolt on the starter motor. Any help is really appreciated

It is possible, but it is easier just to drop out the assembly. Porsche made it so that the engine and trans would come out quickly.

Thanks

It is possible to remove the starter, but it helps to have an additional joint in the arm, a good idea where the bolt is - there are 2 in that area, and some longer wobble extensions
