996 Cup Original Livery?
So, looking at the technical data information regarding Chassis Numbers it appears that the first 2003 car had a VIN ending in 98001. My car has a VIN ending in 98006 and I am curious if there is a way to see what team or series the car originally went to. I might be interested to put the livery back to how it was originally raced and thought it was interesting that my car was number 6 made for the year (or at least that's what I am assuming).
Anyone know how to find out what the original livery was?

No history on the car? Start with the delivery papers from Porsche when they were shipped out. Final customer should be mentioned.

Nothing came with the car, is it as easy as reaching out to Porsche and asking for a COA? Is there an easy way to get a copy of the delivery papers?

I just searched the VIN on google. Some photos and a for sale ad of what looks to be one of the Cups that ran in the Brazilian series popped up. I can't click on the add for some reason however to be 100% sure... Looks like really nice car. Congrats on the purchase.

I searched too and none of the 5 links work or go anywhere. Skeptical to believe this is one of the Brazilian cars being in the first 6 of the year but I'd still like to find out where it went when it was new.

I have one of the Brazilian cars, 98106, and have been trying to find out history on it. It's nearly impossible. You can't get a COA for these cars, although Porsche did confirm mine has the original engine. They didn't track transmission serial numbers, according to the guy I spoke with in Germany.
I've emailed a couple of people in Brazil who promised to get back to me but it didn't happen. The only clues I have about the original livery are bits of blue and yellow still on the car that didn't get covered by the subsequent paint job(s).
Yours could be a Brazilian car if it was sent down before the beginning of the Porsche Cup Brasil in 2005 like mine was. I've spoken to a couple of guys who were involved with bringing those early cars to the US, including Ed on this list.
Like you, I've googled the VIN and come up with nothing. I've the Porsche Sport annual books for the years my car would have been there and there are a couple with livery that could be mine, but it's hard to tell based on just a couple bits of color in particular locations. I even emailed the photographer to no avail. Maybe an impossible task for someone who doesn't speak Portuguese, but I keep trying. It would be great fun to bring it back to it's original livery.
Best,
Bob

If you have a car that ran with Synergy, I probably have some photos as I worked on the team 2004-2008. I was crew chief on many of the Team Seattle cars. Artwork on the wall in my office (attached)

Only that 106 was a Brazilian import ~2014. It ran 15 HDPE, was listed for sale in 2018 @ https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...gt3-super-cup/
I have photos (likely from the bat ad) that show it running as #15 with 709 and Krug on the windscreen, and a second gear performance banner.
