996 Cup data request
Hello all! I'm new here but an avid fan of the 996 car. Myself and a few friends are attempting to recreate the GT3 Cup and GT3-R cars for ourselves in rfactor 2. I've been fortunate to speak with a few teams about the GT3-R and find a little bit of information on them (could always use more!) but I havent been able to get any data for the Cup car to compare our in game physics with what you guys see in the real cars. Would anybody here be interested in helping us out? The more information we can get the more realistic we can make the car in game. Just want to try and do it justice!
Hope to speak with you guys soon

I have the 993 manuals but not the 996. Something like damper dyno and suspension geometry (roll centers, camber gain, even something basic like turn angle etc) would be a big start. String guages on suspension for aero would be big too. Only have rough numbers from scaling pictures online at the moment.
Beyond that, looking for on track data to check things like braking pedal force over Long Gs, Lateral Gs with steering angle and so on. If I can replicate the driver inputs to what the car is actually doing it should feel pretty damn close to the real car.

Didn't get its about sim......so the cup manuals will not really help you, what you need is data from a logger of a real car then.......but in what form? I can provide what the aim logger saves to use in racestudio, that's it. Or ask for specific data (max. Long G f.ex) and I can read in the files I have.....

I have plenty of Motec data for my 996 cup that I would be happy to share. I logs G forces but not steering input or brake pressure as they weren’t set up for that in Carrera Cup in those days. If you want some of it just PM
