FS: 2012 997.2 GT3 Cup
I have a 2012 997.2 GT3 Cup that I've been racing for the last 4-5 years - no accidents. The car was like new when I bought it from the original owner who reported it had no significant damage (it had 30 original hours). Everything is original except a very recent spring change and custom spoiler (I have the original front splitter and springs and it could be put back to stock easily). I'm going to update this post with exact hour info soon, but I will guess it has about 135 hours on the original motor still sealed, 35 hours on the sequential stick gearbox (I had Raider go through it at 100 original hours at a cost of $7k - he reported the box was beautiful and to keep doing what I'm doing). Manthey mechanical blipper, transponder, JRZ 4-way, Cool Shirt system, Lithium battery, 2 sets of wheels powder coated black. Included: air jack wand, wheel nut socket, transport rings, Motec beacon, original springs, original front splitter, Motec data cable, The car mechanically is perfect - no smoke, no loss of power, perfect leak-down - my intention was to go to 200 hours before the rebuild.
I only race this car on the west coast. Much time was spent in getting the setup right to make this car fast. It holds the track record in it's class at Willow, Laguna, Buttonwillow, CA Speedway, and Chuckwalla.
I just picked up 2 991 cars (one I'll be selling, long story, but basically committed to buy one when I found another I wanted more). I really struggled with selling my 997.2 as these are far more exciting to drive than the 991 in my humble opinion - but need to move forward for class reasons.
Asking $XXXk. Dropped to $85k
