This system works alright in sprint races. Beware in endurance applications though: we encountered multiple difficulties with it during the 24H of Dubai this year. The price is really attractive for what it is. GLWS!

We find that the shirts need to have the cleaning solution in them to maintain and avoid alge build up in the filter.
It is nice, compact and lightweight.
IMSA wont allow us to run it this season which is the only reason why I am selling it.
Kills me to sell the box. If IMSA allowed it, i would be using it this season!

Would you keep it? You're practically giving it away at that price. I would use it in sprint racing if not for wanting to build up my heat tolerance.
FYI the issues we've had aren't related to algae buildup at all. Completely new system bled and tested in advance. Had repeated issues with the pump going into limp mode after driver changes during race. Then in one of my stints the flo-lock connector outright *failed* and sprayed water all over the cockpit (to me this was an unforgivable fail that could've had race-ending consequences). IMO this system is just not designed to withstand the rigors of twenty-second driver changes over 24 hours.
A local dealer is looking into the limp mode issue for us, but I'm not particularly hopeful.
Still I think this system is brilliant for anything under a couple hours, and where the driver has all the time to fiddle everything to perfection.

We keep both shirts primed and have had no issues with connectors.
The only time we have experienced limp mode on the pump was when the filters were dirty and needed to be cleaned.
For 24 hours it is perhaps asking alot of the little box. But for sprints and PCA enduros it is a great weight saver.

Agree: as an alternative to the traditional coolshirt or ice-based solutions the RINI really is next-gen stuff!

RINI is *the best* sprint cooling system out there right now and if you've held the unit in your hand it's unbelievably light. Almost defies belief.
If you regularly run a coolbox in your car, this is a no-brainer at $4k.
