My local shop has someone who fabricates them from larger sheets of vinyl. As for install, it takes prep, practice and patience.

Marc

If you brig your car to FL to do some racing call these guys https://racetearoffs.com/. They are the best and come to the track to do it. Iv'e seen plenty of botched installs of tear offs. These guys can get it bubble free.

I use these guys and my wrap shop installs it well. They do a bunch of paint protection film and vinyl so they know the program. Takes practice for sure.

i use the 4 layer stack on a brand new windshield and repair rock chips through it as needed. After that set is done I usually put on the two layer depending on how many repairs the windshield has had. Tracks in the West have a lot of rocks! LOL.
