Default Fuel pressure problem...

So my 2005 996 cup quit running abruptly and then would not restart...Cranks but just burps and farts.....Hooked up the fuel pump out hose and it came out as a slow trickle...Replaced the fuel pump thinking that was it...Still won't start and still has slow trickle at pump out hose...Any suggestions ?

I have seen this a few times now. I would think that as you have replaced the pump you may have seen this. There is a small high pressure fuel hose on the pump send assembly. This hose splits and you lose all pressure back it to the tank. What you have described is exactly what you see. I would suggest the you drain the tank to 5 litres and remove the front inspection, run it on the service setting and look for leaks.
