Default Cup Car Suspension Pin Failures

Hey Racers, I race a GTB1 Cayman in PCA. We use the Cup Car style lower control arms and we have had 2 pin failures. One was later after a wheel hit and one was on the second lap of a new pin. I believe the torque is 55 lb-ft, l’m sure they were torqued properly. Is there anything we should be doing like torquing after run in or getting out the Rosary upon installation? We always replace the pins after a wheel hit regardless of the strength of the hit. Thanks.
