Does anyone know what the taper is on the ball joint studs used for the front and rear toe links in a 996/997 cup?

Interesting - thanks. I believe that is the same taper as used on the "Pinto" style spindles circle track guys use. Seems one may be able to make some bump steer toe links with circle track parts VERY cheaply if this is the case.

Yep - or buy them very cheaply :-)

The expensive part are the good rod ends - Hirschmanns tend to run ~$100 each...

If you can find a retailer for them I am all in. Only way is through Porsche or to be a big player (like Porsche) that I can see.

I purchased rod ends straight from Hirschmann USA? Prices were better that PMNA at the time, NHBB has some nice rod ends as well.
