today at a track day the power steering failed - i opend the trunk an hydraulic oil was oround the steering wheel reservoir - i think the cap is not sealing properly?
can someone please send pics of an open cap of the reservoir - or tell me what could be the problem?

is the sealing ok - it sits very loose on the reservoir

I don't have my car with me now but think there should be a rubber ring on the underside of your cap.

That, and the power steering system can't run dry... better check your system after refilling...

today i filled up the reservoir, after engine on and some steering the leak was visible

question: there is no sign or mark in the reservoir - how much i have to top up?

You need to keep the fluid above the metal parts inside the reservoir. I'd wrap a paper towel around the cap to catch fluid.
