Mike,
Congrats, what a killer deal. I hope you don't know how to get in touch with my wife, she has already tried to give a couple of my cars away just to get them out the driveway. I keep them locked up in storage and hide the keys from her now

Speedvision Cups
Just reading your post. Yes these 2001 Cup Cars we raced in SpeedVision WC were quite unique. From the minute they were bought the mods started. We all ran on 245 fr and 295 rear Toyo street tires “shaved”. Had big front splitters, GT3RS wings, taller uprights. GT3RS suspension. Plus many trick bits. Added power steering PMNA. Transmissions were altered “Copan’s” And at the start of the season we all had upgraded engine packages PMNA ranging from 418-422HP by the end of the 01 season the cars made 485HP at the crank. PMNA These cars were very fast thru the traps. Narrow body, decent downforce, lots of power, and not much grip! Series was very intense with lots of very fast guys. James Sofronas recently had my old 2001 WC Cup for sale a year or so ago. All of these cars are great as well as a piece of history. Johannes, Fitzgerald, David Schardt, Jimmy Adams, and mine Justin Jackson. Might be forgetting one or two. These cars are cool, were very trick in the day and very FAST. Still are! Glad to see they are getting used and not sitting around. With even more mods and good tires they can be very competitive even today! Plus these had a real shifter and took some skill to drive😂🤪 Good luck with the purchase. Glad to see it being enjoyed! Would be cool to see them all re-united one day. Have fun with the Car.
Cheers,
Justin Jackson

Since this thread has gone nostalgic (hopefully the car sold), I thought I'd offer to share the 75 or so 2002 photos of the Infineon car being raced by Marco Werner. These were given to me by Peter Goebel who was a coach and is in a few of the photos. If anyone wants them email me and I'll send a link to dropbox. I need your e-mail address so send me an email jandsaustin1@verizon.net instead of a PM. It is great to see these older cars in the original livery.
