Default Cosworth Data

I have a 2015 Cup purchased out of the UK and having issues extracting data from the Cosworth system. 2 different shops and both using the proper cable and Toolbox software. Has anyone faced a similar challenge?

You need the proper Porsche Software on the laptop. When we did have issues this was not installed properly.

Thanks Bob. We may need to use software that is not what's available on the Cosworth site. Did you get the software from the Cosworth site? We've reached out to PMNA and Cosworth for help.

Can you be a bit more specific on the "problem" you're encountering?

Pi Toolset needs to be properly paired with the specific ICD in your car, so that a profile with your ICD's specific serial number shows on the Devices tab. Has that been done?

There is Porsche Cup specific software on the Cosworth website. This should work. As CRex stated, when you install it will find devices that you need to attach to first before you can download. You also have to set the manor you are hardware connecting (Cable / USB IIRC) even though most dont work anyway like Bluetooth.

UK cars run different configurations. Contact Jeremy Sundt at PMNA. He will be able to help.

First things first: you can received the Cosworth system files by completing a simple request.

https://www.cosworth.com/race/porsche-motorsport/

You can fill in the top form in order to download 2 pieces of software:
Toolbox – for analysing the data.
Toolset – for programming the ICD and retrieving the data.

You will need the correct cable to download data from the car.

We are using the software sent by Cosworth following filling the request. PMNA is setting us up following completing a car registration. The U.K. Carrera Cup cars evidently ran/run a different configuration because a few others had similar issue despite using correct cable and current software. I'll report back once I'm up and running.

Okay keep us posted. I simply downloaded the install system they provided and it seemed to work fine. The only thing I couldn't change is the dash display because I believe there's a different cable and system required.
