2008 997RSR PET?
Can anyone confirm the part number for the rear trailing arm assembly on 07/08 997RSR? On the '12 it's part number 997.331.043.9E. I would like to verify if 997.331.043.9B was used on the earlier RSRs and if dimensionally they are the same. If anyone has a link to a 07/08 RSR maintenance/parts catalogue, I would appreciate it.
thanks!

I don't have the 2008 Manual, but do have the 2007 and 2009:
2007 RSR Manual
2009 RSR Manual
The 2007 RSR used 997.331.043.01 (which was probably superseded)
The 2009 RSR used 997.331.043.9D

The 2009 RSR used 997.331.043.9D

Hi John,
You should also check the Grand AM info since, it is pretty much the same thing,
The 09 GrandAM P/N is 997.331.043.9C.
Check your PM's

16 Längslenker komplett 997.331.043.9A

If you are wondering where 9B went (between 2008 and 2009), it is for the 2009 Cup-S.

Thanks guys ^^! Yeah, PM is up to a 9E for the 2012RSR. I was trying to pinpoint the differences of the A, B, C, D, and E versions but they all appear to be essentially the same exact item. I was curious if they are all the same length?

Great pics Andrew. So it looks like the "A" versions are the U-shaped forks and the B versions are the more compact V-spaped forks if I'm reading that correctly. The "B" version also has a counter sink machined into it for a flush counter sink bolt it looks like. This is probably done for clearance purposes. I wonder what the C and D versions changed? Would love to see pictures of those. There is also an E and a K used on the 12RSR and 13GT3R both of which specify a slightly longer overall length in the manual, 378 and 380mm. The D model specifies 372mm and my guess is that A, B, and C are also 372mm but not specified in the manual. Obviously there is an adjustment range but I wonder if the length of the center bars are all the same between the various versions or if it's just a change in the shape of the fork.

I'm not sure who it came from exactly, but was filed in my 2007 Porsche RSR folder. It likely came from a rennlist ad where someone sold all of the RSR suspension arms. I've another on the same mat with multiple drop links, an inner LCA, 4 dogbones, 2 rear toelinks, those trailing arms a bunch of bushes. I hoard these things because good modeling reference is often not around when you need it, and they tend to disappear over time.

To bad we couldn'h have a server setup with all this information as a reference source in one place...
