2007 Cayman S - TPMS Warning Light
I am using a set of used Porsche wheels with track tires for HPDE weekends. They do not have the TPMS sensors installed. Is there a way to "turn of" the TPMS warning ligts on the center dash display? Likewise if one or two of the sensors on the stock wheels does not work? I check my tire pressures regularly. Thanks

I doubt it. I track a 2011 and just paid the freight for track wheel sensors. To check pressure I just sit in the car and check the readout (lazy) and noticed I was +4 on all so just got out and bled some air. Not a track junkie so not going for best time..........

You can just ignore the warning on track or have it programmed out with a durametric, but then you won’t see the pressure at all. Just need to decide what’s more important for you

You can turn code the computer to remove the tire pressure monitoring feature with the Durametric, but you also need to disconnect the module from the system. If you just perform the coding operation the system will have a fault as the main control module will be present and send a signal that the computer is not expecting. The main tire pressure module on the 987.1 is relatively easy to get to by peeling back the frunk gasket and plastic cover panels above the master cylinder. Here is the run through with a 997, but it's essentially the same with minor differences with the frunk trim on the 987.
