Perhaps a common question but was wondering if anyone knew of a knowledgeable 3rd party person and or company in the San Francisco Bay area?

Not looking for an all out qualified PPI but one that would at least give an outside third opinion on a used Cayman that's too far from me to view myself.

Anyone with personal experience with companies such as "Autochex" and or "Lemonsquad"?
Looks like mixed reviews at best!

I used a service called Inspect-X (https://www.inspect-x.com/) to look at a car in Raleigh NC. They do remote PPI's using local Porsche techs and perform inspections at the seller's location.

They have a comprehensive checklist done on a tablet. My report was over 15 pages long and very thorough. I also got photos of the car and any noted concerns. I dealt with Frank Kosarek, who is part of the company leadership.

Their findings led me to cancel the purchase.

I have paid for two other PPI's recently, both very thorough, but this was the best of the bunch.

They seem to have inspectors in most major cities. Don't know for sure about SF, but worth an inquiry.

Fremont Porsche will not to a PPI

Niello Porsche in Rockland (Sacramento) will do a PPI, I got mine done there

Tony Heyer at Heyer Performance, 2362 Old Middlefield Way, Mountain View, CA 94043, (650) 962-0930 has done PPI for me. Tony is an old school guy but knows what he's doing.
