Default 2006 turbo s rotor life

I am going to replace the rotors on my 06 turbo s. The originals are at 36.5 mm with the minimum being 36 mm. These rotors have 129,000 km or 80,000 miles. Pretty good life for sure. I though I would put it out there for reference. If you calculate cost per mile not bad.

Not bad at all. The previous owner of my 06 Turbo S changed them at 75k miles.

The PO of my car got 70k out of his fronts.

Here is a thread about a great price on these expensive parts. It appears that they are back ordered, however.

I emailed and they don't know when the rotors will be back in stock.

I got this:

"Thank you for your email. Unfortunately, we have not received an e.t.a. from the manufacturers for when these rotors would be available, and all stock is still depleted from our network of suppliers. Please feel free to check back anytime for any updates on availability dates."

I swapped mine out, almost to the spec at 80K although I swapped to EBC Yellow brake pads which are a little easier on the rotors I think as I can be hard on the brakes sometimes. Country back highway driving at high speeds with idiots pulling out every now and then.
