Congrats!
Another very rare M/T 957. Strange that its a GTS without an air suspension control, standard on that model.
Is it equipped with air suspension?

No air suspension, no sunroof, no auto headlights, no TPMS.
I wish I had the sunroof, otherwise it is perfect. Whoever ordered it, did a great job. It also has the electric trailer hitch.
Are the regular Sachs shocks adjustable? I can't tell much of a difference if any when I switch between Sport/Normal/Comfort. Same with the exhaust. Is it just engine response on mine?
Here are the codes:

This my be a clue...(E0W) Campaign version: GTS
Maybe a factory special order for demonstration purposes ??
The sport mode changes the engine mapping and should provide a noticeable change in the exhaust note.
Sport normal and comfort modes tweak the air suspension settings which this does not have.
It is equipped with (2PH) a heated steering wheel.
I am not aware of any Cayenne models with adjustable shocks.

It is a French car. That might explain the subtle differences.
It has full leather/alcantara.
Is the heated steering wheel automatic or does it turn on with the heated seats?
It sure is nice to have here in the Alps. The 993 stays in the heated garage for the winter, but the Cayenne gets the carport... no frost, but it still gets cold...

Beautiful car! I love the color and those are my favorite factory Cayenne wheels. I wish I could have found a six speeder when I needed one. The twin turbos are helping me to cope though Great set of options, heated steering wheel is one of my favorites along with the full leather. I agree with omitting most of the rest like the original owner did, very interesting set of options that we could not have in the US. Enjoy!

Thanks, I already checked all the codes before buying the car. Although, I could not get your link to work...
I put the car on jack stands this afternoon. I did some investigating:
1- Each shock absorber has a wire going to a small solenoid attached to it. Looks like adjustables to me. (see attached photo of the right rear shock)
2- Each exhaust pipe has a vacuum activated valve. One of them is shot for sure. That would explain why they do not seem open in sport mode. (see attached photo of the right one)
3- Original paint, nothing was repainted, no accident damage.
4- Power steering fluid is very dark and on the low side. I'll try a diy flush at some point.
4- No leak, all rubbers are still intact, cardan shaft is fine. The car is very clean.
I'm happy so far...

I did some research, and found a French brochure from 2008. (direct link)
PASM with no air suspension was standard equipment on the GTS.
PASM with air suspension was an option.

PASM *is* adjustable shock damping. I'm surprised you don't feel the difference - mine is quite noticeable, especially when I want to throw it around some turns. Great looking truck - probably the best of the 955/957 series. And the wheels are just perfect for it.
BTW - it might be interesting to get diagnostics hooked to it and make sure all the shocks are doing what they're supposed to. I would think you could feel the solenoid valve moving when you switched modes too.. (obviously you'd need someone under the vehicle and someone trustworthy in the cab.)

The buttons on the center console indicate "PASM", which is the "active" damping.
Most folks think of "adjustable shocks" as the ones that are manually changed.
This isn't that.

I honestly don't see a whole lot of difference between each setting. But I don't push the car really hard, so I may not be in a great position to.

Ok, I got it now! Unfortunately, it does not like my french vin: "This vehicle is not available".
I'm guessing that this is a Porsche USA link for newer US cars?
It did not like my US 993 vin either.
Thanks a lot anyways,
