Default Porsche OEM liscense plate frame

Bought a black OEM frame for the rear plate on my 2016 GTS. Nice frame but the screws included are for eurothane bumpers. I have t I buy longer factory thread screws to be able to mount it on my tailgate.
For $50 you would think they would include these screws with the plate.... WTF?..

Yeah, you're right about that! I have a couple of the OEM plate frames and the supplied screws are fine for the front plate, but the rear plate install requires the specific machined screws (which fortunately I had already).

Did you get the black 'GTS' one? I run the black 'Turbo' on the front and the brushed stainless 'Turbo' on the rear (matches better with the rear emblems, tailgate trim, and the Porsche sport tailpipes).

I have two of the discontinued OEM carbon fiber ones ('Turbo' & 'Porsche logos), but I'm reluctant to put those on the car cause they're so darn nice and now irreplaceable, I don't want to mess them up with road debris and junk, so they sit in one of my automotive display cases!

I have the satin black frame with Porsche on the lower part of the frame. Agree the CF frames are gorgeous and I wouldn't risk getting road debris on them either.

When I bring it in for oil change I'm going to ask the dealer for the screws. I shouldn't have to pay for them given I paid $50 for the frame and Iwas told would fit the back of my Cayenne.

I've noticed that Porsche offers certain plate frames for a while then often discontinues them. On the Porsche USA Tequipment site a while back that had a huge selection of different logos available. Now very few are still offered.

The reason I mention this is because they did offer the satin black stainless one with the 'GTS' logo, but it's no longer shown on their site. If you're interested in that 'GTS' version, there is a dealer on eBay that still has some...

If you pick it up at the factory center they give you a frame for it.
