Unfortunately the pics don't help the discerning eye though.
Interesting thing about this one. It has been for sale in the area for a long, long time now. It was showing up on Autotrader or Cars.com at a used car joint near Sterling VA called Starz Auto or something like that months ago. I was in that area one weekend and tried calling...no answer....no answering machine....nothing. Then I tried plugging their listed address into the nav system....nope, nothing there either. Now it's on Craigslist showing a Great Falls location using the exact same photos used for the Sterling dealer listing. In fact I recognized this one from those photos, that's what got my attention. So seems to me there's something a bit fishy about this one perhaps.

Have you seen this one? 2014 6-year 100K Porsche warranty with 80K remaining. $53K ask.

Been for sale for a while now, bet you can get the guy down if you show up and indicate you're a real buyer. I actually thought long and hard about this one, but didn't want to stomach the depreciation knowing that I may need a larger car/van in the nearer future.

Ads lime these aren't about selling a car but simply to get your money. I think typically there isn't an actual car just pics they found online. Seen similar with Cadillacs.

Ok, I'll bite (since I do NOT know anything about Cayenne Hybrids)..... mdosu, I realize you are now saying you only want a 2015 or newer,... but your sentence says:

"OMG, you got me REALLY excited, then I realized, it's a Hybrid...I need a 2015+ S E-Hybrid!"

What is the difference between a Cayenne S Hybrid,.... and a Cayenne S E-Hybrid???

Sorry for the dumb question, but I thought they were the same thing.

To me it looks like the sfbay CL link that dhc905 provided above (black C SEH) looks like it should fit your bill. What is different between a 2014 & a 2015 that makes the difference for you??

I'm not even sure they are about getting money, as it is extremely rare to actually contact anyone. I think it is more about phone/email info collecting.

Haha, it's all good. The S Hybrid was the old VW powertrain they had in Tregs. It paired a 1.7 kWh Nickel Hydride battery with a Audi 3L Supercharged V6. Efficiency is about as good as a Cayenne/VW/Audi Diesel. That CL ad is a 2014 S Hybrid.

The S E-Hybrid (SEH) is a 10.8 kWh plug-in lithium ion hybrid with that same Audi 3L supercharged V6. Only 2015+ are SEHs

Difference in:
HP - 40
Torque - 120 ft-lb
Efficiency- about 5 mpgs

Sigh, it looks like I need to wait to this time next year for a 2015 SEH to be consistently in the $50ks. It's close now though. A few have been listing in the $62k range and were de-listed, indicating that's around the current lowest selling price. A few certified are listed at $65k. Maybe this winter, I can get one in the 50s.

So after repeated reviews of the model booklet, builds of the car online, searches of what pre-owned SEHs were actually equipped with and reviewing this thread, I've decided that I'll be looking for the following:

Must haves: (must have at least 2 of 3)
1. Entry and Drive
2. Ventilated and Heated Seats (usually comes as Premium Package, but are also a-la-carte options)
3. Rearview camera (I believe also comes with PP)

Nice to haves: (will be great to have at least 3 of the options below)
1. Surround view Camera
2. Mahogany Metallic, Meteor Gray, (any metallic colors except Moonlight Blue)
3. extended wheel arches, painted or black
4. sport design side skirts
5. 14-way seats
6. Premium Package
7. Roof rails, any color
8. compass on dashboard
9. Lane Change Assist

Bonus: (having just 1 of the below will probably sway my decision to buy a particular car)
1. 7.2 kWh onboard charger (I don't think these were available on early build MY15s)
2. adjustable ride height air suspension
3. complete Sport Design exterior

Where was that color when I bought my 2013!

They try to talk down the body damage, but between what I can see and guess at with the bumper not fitting properly you're probably looking at $2-3k of work.

Given that they haven't fixed (and try to down play) the body damage and are ignoring the rear hatch warning, I'd also have to guess that they are lax in other things too. Oil changed regularly? Other items left until they were critical that may have caused other issues that will show up later?

Seriously, that color is awesome and I've never seen it before.

They do seem to be a nickel-and-dime sort of person judging from their ad (hey I'll throw in something you probably don't want, but it cost not only $70, but PLUS TAX!).

That said, if you're right about the 2-3K of body work (that seems kind of high to me, but I haven't had or been quoted for any work on mine yet), I sort of understand why an owner of a $15K car wouldn't invest $2-3K in cosmetic fixes when the next buyer will still only probably pay $15K for it...

I bought my Cayenne from there recently. They have some great pricing on cars. No haggle but I did some haggling anyways.

But the Cayenne you are looking at is pretty nice - I saw it when I was there last weekend. Higher mileage but good price based on the options.
