Michelin Latitude Sport 3
Hi all
I am thinking of buying Michelin Latitude Sport 3 (Porsche N1 rated) tires for my 2008 Cayenne GTS.
Would you please state your experience with these tires in a GTS.
This tire has a low UTQG Rating which means I have to replace them around 10-13k miles, apart from thread-ware issue are there any another issues?
Thanks

I have the new Latitude Sport 3's on my '13 GTS. Had them installed ~early november after the stock tires were pretty much bald after 12k miles. I've got 23k miles on them so far and I can see them lasting another 5k or so. So far I've definitely preferred them over stock! They're definitely quieter on the road and they stick to the road when I feel like driving too fast!!
I'll buy again for sure!!

I found out the same thing as f30er, my Latitudes have lasted longer than the rating would suggest and I don't consider myself an easy driver. Real nice tires, best I've had on a Pig (owner of previous pig) yet but for the price I might consider the Nokian unless the Latitudes come down a little in price.

I don't have the Lattitude Sport 3's,... but do have the regular Lattitude Sport's, and have 20k miles on them. Love them so far.
Why are you going with the 3's (over the regular Lattitude Sport's)?...
I see that tire rack has both the regular and the 3's both priced the same. What is the difference between them?, and why choose one over the other? ( I don't want to just assume that because the model has a "3", that it is newer & better). Both have a UTQG rating of 220 AAA.

The '3's are the latest version. Tire rack is probably cleaning out old stock of the regular Latitudes. A good tire for sure but for the same price I would definitely get the newer tire because: You get a newer design, probably a newer manufactured tire, and if you loose one early on before too much wear it will be easier to find a replacement with the newer tire.

Pretty sure the Lattitude 3's are lighter and therefore, eco rated.
Should get better mileage over the course of their useable life.

Sounds like a good a choice. How's cornering and grip on wet roads? I'm thinking of getting the Latitude Sport 3's on my next tire change but I also like the reviews about the SportContact 5P, and I saw a good price on these Conti's from 4WO|Click here for Tires.

I have been using Michelin Latitude Sport 3 295/35/R21 on my Cayenne S 2015, came with the vehicle. Have done a bit over 5000km( about 3100miles) on them. They are fantastic so far on cornering and on wet surfaces.
